This leading organisation in New York has an immediate requirement for a Salesforce / cloud Pre-Sales/Sales Engineer in New York.
Applicants should have ideally worked for any of the following (or similar companies) : Merrill, Dealcloud, Intralinks, Dynamo Software, Altvia, Backstop, Salesforce Financial Services.
This is a role that requires someone who can interact with prospects/customers and be the technical sales lead for the clients cloud products.
Applicants require a background in the following :
Salesforce and cloud technologies (please be clear this is not a technical role though so an understanding of this and an interest in technology is key)
Have worked for a software company that sells it’s services to the mid size corporation market
Posses an ability to understand the client’s needs although the sale will not require heavy customizations for each prospective client.
2-3 years + Pre sales experience
The ability to demonstrate and sell technical cloud products and solutions to customers
Strong communication skills
Highly customer focused
A computer science degree or equivalent is ideal but not essential
A financial services background is preferable but not essential
The role involves understanding the clients needs and gathering their requirements whilst demonstrating the companies solutions to the customer in a bespoke fashion. You will get exposure to Salesforce, the financial technology world and a fast moving business!
Salary – 100-120000 USD + commission (10-15k USD per annum) + Benefits
