Our client is a leading organisation that has immediate requirements for a 6 months+ contract Senior Data & AI Engineer who has Databricks Lakehouse and Agentic AI – this is an onsite 5 days a week role working from Pleasanton, California.

Applicants need to possess the following skills :
5 years+ AI/ML or Data engineering
Databricks Lakehouse – ESSENTIAL
Databricks on AWS – ESSENTIAL
Agentic AI – ESSENTIAL
Vector search, RAG and LLM (LangGraph and LangChain)
Apache Iceberg, Delta, Parquet, Avro
Unity Catalog
Python, SQL
LLM Ops – LangSmith, PromptLayer, Weights, Biases + LLM API’s (OpenAI, HuggingFace)
Databricks certifications, LCEL, Databricks Model Serving, CI/CD for ML
You will use your experience to design, implementation, intelligent workflows, integration, agent workflows and deployment.
